RIC Secures Contract For New Cluster In DAMAC Hills 2

Leading real estate developer, DAMAC Properties has awarded UAE-based firm, Royal International Contracting (RIC) a new contract of AED 240 million, for main works for a new cluster in DAMAC Hills 2.

The scope of work includes the construction of the main works package for 526 townhouses located within the thriving 55 million sqft master community of DAMAC Hills 2.

The announcement marks another in a long list of contracts awarded for the master community and is a testament to DAMAC’s commitment to delivering a truly well-rounded and high-quality living experience for residents.

“With the appointment of RIC, we are well on track with the promises made to investors and future residents, and I look forward to welcoming the first residents in the new cluster as planned. DAMAC Hills 2 launched in 2014 and has more than 30,000 residents,” said Mohammed Tahaineh, General Manager of DAMAC.

Located in Dubailand, DAMAC Hills 2 brings an easy-going ambiance to Dubai, and offers residents an unrivalled array of amenities. These include a large aviary for residents to stroll through as birds fly around them, multiple sports pitches as well as courts, an outdoor cinema, a dog park, a petting farm, jogging, and cycling tracks. The community is also home to Malibu Beach where residents can enjoy the wave pool and splash pads, lazy river, VIP and regular cabanas, big-screen TV, juice bar, beach volleyball court, BBQ pits, kids’ play area, surround sound system and DJ. The community has also opened two nurseries and its community includes a Carrefour grocery store, restaurants, and other retail outlets.

The developer launched its third master development in Dubai — DAMAC Lagoons in late 2021, and it has already earned the accolade of being the UAE’s first pre-certified LEED Platinum community development under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Cities and Communities Rating System.
