The Mohammed bin Rashid Library is a notable cultural landmark and library in Dubai. The library occupies an area of over 66,000 square meters and is located in the Al Jaddaf area, close to Dubai Creek. It was opened in 2019 and aspires to be among the most cutting-edge and complete libraries in the entire world.
Dubai’s most ambitious cultural initiative to date is housed in a seven story built to resemble a rehl, the traditional wooden book rest used to hold the Quran. The goal of the project is to create a beacon of knowledge, culture, and creativity with the goal of expanding a collection by acquiring millions of books from all over the world.
The library has 10 physical collections, access to a wide variety of ebooks and digital media, and a fantastic audio book library.
